You thought when you got “here” your business it meant you’d finally arrived. You built a truly connected community, transformational offers, and your business is consistent and profitable. It feels like the sweet spot, but you want to reach even more people with your mission.
Now you’re looking at the next step and realizing you can’t take the leap without something changing. You’re so weighed down with details, managing tasks and dealing with backend operations. It’s starting to feel less like being a leader and more being a traffic conductor.
You’re not failing. It’s a sign you’re doing something right. You’ve just reached a new level and you’re going through growing pains.
You can’t do more. You need to do less, so you have the time and space to be quiet, to get in touch with your creativity, your vision.
What now?
Identify what’s draining you
Do a quick audit. For 1 week, track:
- What you’re doing
- What you’re avoiding
- What’s taking emotional energy (not just time)
Then categorize into:
- Only I can do this
- I could teach someone this
- I should not be doing this
You need clarity before you can delegate. You can’t get help if you don’t know where you’re stuck.
Name the Type of Support You Need
Ask yourself:
- Do I need tactical help?
- Do I need planning + follow-through?
- Do I need a thought partner who can lead backend operations with me?
- Do I need help with content creation or social media?
- Do I need community management?
- Do I need help with email marketing?
- Do I need help with backend systems set ups?
When you identify specific areas where you need help, you’re more likely to find the right fit.
Choose ONE Area to Hand Off
Start small and strategic. Instead of trying to overhaul your entire business, focus on one thing at a time. For example:
- Client Onboarding
- Weekly team check-ins
- Launch planning
- Calendar/Project management
Document the process once by creating an SOP, then delegate it fully.
This gives you a tangible win, builds confidence, and shifts you into leadership mode now, not “someday.”
Be encouraged, you’re in the process of breaking through that ceiling in your business. This isn’t just about “getting help” it’s about stepping into your CEO shoes, and stepping into the next era of your business that isn’t limited by your capacity.
